FAQ

What is The Daisy Project?

The Daisy Project is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to helping families keep their pets during times of financial hardship. We provide pet food assistance and limited support services to ensure that no pet has to leave their home due to temporary financial struggles.

Household pets eligible for assistance must:

  • Live in your home or yard

  • Be primarily fed and cared for by you

  • Be named

  • Receive regular veterinary care provided by you

  • Be microchipped to you or your family

All pets in the home must be listed on the application.

We do not provide assistance for:

  • Feral cats

  • Stray or neighborhood animals

  • Feral cat colonies

  • Animals being fostered for rehoming

Our services are intended for owned household pets only.

Assistance is intended to supplement, not replace, your pet food budget. Typically:

  • The program provides 1–2 weeks’ worth of food per month

  • Dog households may receive one gallon-size bag of food

  • Cat households may receive up to two gallon-size bags of basic litter (when available)

All items are subject to availability and donation levels.

  2. Complete the Daisy Project confirmation form.

  3. Send confirmation of the appointment to The Daisy Project.

Vouchers must be used within the specified timeframe.

Vaccination vouchers are valid for 30 days once issued. Pet owners are responsible for scheduling appointments and transportation. The Daisy Project is not liable for health-related outcomes associated with services provided by the clinic.
